Featured in The Times & Summer Update

I photographed Jim White and Kevin Moore earlier this week at the National Football Museum. My photo was featured in today’s electronic and print editions of The Times. You can catch video from the event here: http://www.teamtalk.com/video/18112/8832490/Jim-White-s-Deadline-Day-tie

Photography-wise, I’ve been kept busy over the last few months with unit work for Sky 1’s upcoming The Town That Danced Again, My Kitchen Rules for Sky Living, the third series of The Four O’Clock Club for CBBC and publicity photography for Cineflix, Channel 4 and CBeebies. I’ve also been doing work for Sky’s Rainforest Rescue Challenge and its Living for Sport schools campaign.

Busily working on my screenwriting and enjoying the summer sun (hope you are too).

Royle Family actors Caroline Aherne and Craig Cash will reveal the secrets of the UK’s favourite couch-loving family in two TV specials about the acclaimed BBC1 sitcom for digital channel Gold.

Aherne and Cash, who wrote and starred in the Royle Family, will go behind the scenes of the comedy in Royle Family: Behind the Sofa, and will pick their favourite moments from the show’s three series and five specials in Royle Family Portraits.

Gold previously reunited the stars of Fawlty Towers for a retrospective about the classic John Cleese comedy.

The Royle Family, which debuted on BBC1 in 1998, showed its enduring appeal with a Christmas special last year that was watched by more than 10 million viewers, making it the second most watched programme of the festive period.

Royle Family: Behind the Scenes will feature interviews with the cast as well as fans including Catherine Tate, Paul Whitehouse, Willy Russell, Jimmy McGovern and Henry Normal, who co-wrote the first series.

Both shows will be produced by Jellylegs TV and will broadcast next month [NOV].

Ray Bulpitt – Dance teacher

A few weeks ago I took photographs for my ballroom dancing teacher, Ray Bulpitt I’ve been learning (or at least trying to learn) the cha-cha-cha, the waltz, the tango, the social fox-trot and a bit of salsa. It’s been great fun and this is coming from someone whose dancing never usually exceeds a nod of the head or a shuffle of the shoulders. Photographs were taken with a Nikon D700, a Nikon D300s and a variety of portrait lenses. I used Nikon’s CLS system to power two speedlights.
