This past week has seen the opening of a new office block for Sky at the Leeds Dock. I was on hand to get snaps for the opening day on what turned out to be an unseasonably warm and sunny day (not bad for December!)
This past week I was in Blackpool. I was photographing the stars of darts as they were made up and photographed for superimposition in various movie scenes for a publicity calendar for NOW TV. This was a highly unique experience for me to photograph as I was the assigned behind-the-scenes photographer. The guys were great and had fun dressing up and getting snapped. Below is a short sample of some of the pics I shot for The Terminator/Die Hard shoot section. You can see some of the final results of the calendar in this NME article
This past week I was providing behind-the-scenes photography for the visual effects company providing services for wonder.land – a wild musical inspired by Alice in Wonderland. My brief was to capture wide shots of the visuals (rather than close ups as I’m used to with my regular theatre work). It was my first time photographing in the Palace Theatre and it was fantastic. I was working alongside the assigned publicity photographers for the show who were great. The official site for wonder.land is here if you would like more information.
